I don't give it six stars because I can't. It was one of the best moments of the trip. It's like an oasis in the middle of all the tourists with incredible views. The temple is incredibly relaxing. The girl is super nice and the food is incredible.

Gluten free! This can be so hard to find. We stumbled upon this cafe while taking a scenic walk. The rice bread is super soft and squishy, not hard like most GF bread. Absolutely delicious sandwiches! (You can even buy a whole loaf if you want.) I almost never get to have sandwiches, especially on holidays. Wonderful place. Highly recommend if you're gluten sensitive.

Nice lady who runs it. Interesting table of a huge tree. Quiet. Tons of gluten free options and very good coffee.

The choice of cakes, ice cream and drinks is good (more coffee, not much tea but you can get matcha and pure juice - grape juice is exquisite ). It's a lovely artsy place, not many people walked in that day so you might be able to relax in a quiet space. You can also visit a gallery upstairs if you want to. The lady who runs the shop is very warm and kind, she told us there's another location in Tokyo. The castella cake was my absolute favourite it costs ¥120! I took one home

We stumbled upon this place while checking out the shops nearby, and what a gem it turned out to be! The cafe's decor is lovely, and the spacious backyard offers a great view of Kodaiji temple - ideal for snapping photos without the usual crowds. It was a truly unique and chill experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Historic place. A café meaningful to the descendants of Goryeo(Korea).

Found this place by chance when walking past on a walking tour. As a gluten-free girly I was so happy to find it! It’s so peaceful inside and they have a beautiful courtyard garden area at the back. I’m really surprised I was able to find a brief moment of tranquility so close to all of the crowds outside. Also very happy to see soy milk an available with the drinks. Perhaps a little more expensive than elsewhere, but all gluten free and served beautifully.

Very lovely older lady took care of our order. Tasty desserts, and a very pretty courtyard. Small sweeties and water are included with the drink. The florentine not only looked amazing also tasted amazing.
